Burrow House also organises gourmet weekends with five course menus (booked and priced separately). This is cooked by a London Head chef who has cooked for Heads of state, former prime ministers, film producers as well as many members of the royal house hold including Her Royal majesty the late queen mother. The weekend is strictly limited to a maximum of 6 people and will include the following:

Champagne canape reception
Five course dinner accompanied with vintage wines
Overnight accommodation
Gourmet breakfast with a glass of bucks fizz

A sample menu would be as follows

Wild mushroom risotto with roast lobster tail enfused with truffle oil.

Roast fillet of venison with a port wine and damson jus served on a bed of parsnip puree and a medley of seasonal vegetables and potatoes

A Selection of local farmhouse cheeses served with quince jelly and oatmeal biscuits

A plate of exotic fruits glazed with a sautern sabayon and a brandy snap basket filled with a passion fruit sorbet.
